Create Your Account

Your journey with DataStream begins with creating an account. You have two ways to get started:

Direct Sign-Up

  1. Navigate to the Sign-Up Page

    • DataStream is available in multiple regions. Select your region and click the Start now button to start signing up.
  2. Fill in Your Information

    • Business Email - This becomes your username for signing in
    • Set password - Create a secure password
    • Confirm Password - Re-enter your password
    • Full name - Enter your first and last name
    • Company - Enter your organization name
  3. Complete CAPTCHA Verification (Conditional)

    • Complete the CAPTCHA challenge to verify you're not a bot

      note

CAPTCHA appears only when it is activated by standard CAPTCHA logic, therefore it may or may not appear in your case.

  4. Create Your Account

    • Click Create Account
    • You will be redirected to the email verification page
  5. Verify Your Email

    • Check your inbox for the verification email
    • Click the verification link to activate your account
    • After verification, you can sign in to your DataStream Home page

Azure Marketplace Sign-Up

If your organization uses Azure, you can sign up through Azure Marketplace:

  1. Find DataStream in Azure Marketplace

  2. Subscribe through Azure

    • Click Get it now
    • Sign in with your Azure account
    • Select your Subscription and Plan
    • Click Subscribe
  3. Complete Setup

    • Fill in your details on the subscription page
    • Click Subscribe to finalize

If you are new to DataStream, your DataStream account will be created automatically

Already have a DataStream account? Click Sign in to link this subscription, sign in as the organization's Owner, check the plan and organization shown, and click Link subscription. The purchase's plan replaces the organization's current plan.

    • The sign-in page opens with the Azure purchaser's email already filled in. Password, MFA and SSO sign-ins all work.
    • The Link your Azure Marketplace subscription page shows the purchase — Plan, Billing term (Monthly or Yearly), Azure account and Vendor — beside the Organization it would go to and that organization's Current plan. If you are signed in with an email other than the Azure purchaser's, the page warns you, and you can still link.
    • Link subscription applies the purchase's plan, activates the subscription at Microsoft, and takes you to Organization settings → Subscription and Billing with the message Subscription linked. Cancel leaves without linking.
    • If you are already signed in, opening the link from the Azure Marketplace takes you straight to the link page.
note

Only the organization's Owner can link a subscription, and only to a main organization that is active and has no marketplace subscription yet. A link never downgrades: if the purchased plan is smaller than the organization's current plan, contact support to change the plan. Any signed-in user can open the link page; when the subscription cannot be linked, the page says why:

The organization is a subtenantA subtenant cannot hold this subscription
The organization already has a marketplace subscriptionThis organization already has a marketplace subscription

First Sign-In

Once your account is verified:

  1. Go to your Sign-In Page
  2. Enter your email address and click Continue
  3. Enter your password and click Sign in
  4. You will be taken to your DataStream Home page

What's Next?

Now that you have access to DataStream, you're ready to set up your first data collection system. We'll start by creating a Director to manage your data flows.

info

If you are an Owner or Admin, your Home page displays a guided Onboarding wizard that walks you through the same setup steps covered in this guide.
